BOLETO TURISTICO (Tourist Ticket)

You have the Option to Purchase a 1 Day or a 10 Day “Boleto Turistico”.
The partial ticket, or 1 Day ticket costs 70 soles (about US $20) and is valid for 1 day. You can visit as many sites as you like in one day with this ticket. There are no discounts for this ticket.

The general ticket gives you access to 16 archeological and cultural sites in Cusco, the south valley and the Sacred Valley over a period of 10 days. The price of this ticket is 130 soles (about US $35) and it is valid for 10 days. This is the cheapest and most convenient way visit many different sites in a few days. The cost for students under 25 (with the presentation of a valid ISIC card) and for teenagers under 18 (with the presentation of an identity card) is 70 soles (US $20). Children under 11 are free.

Note: An entrance ticket to the main archeological sites like Sacsaywaman, Pisac, Ollantaytambo, Chinchero, Tipón and Moray cannot be sold individually; you must buy the Tourist Ticket to visit these sites.

You can purchase the Tourist Ticket on Avenida el Sol or at the moment of entering the first site you want to visit.

  1. Day 1 SACRED VALLEY, MARAS AND MORAY

    We will pick you up from your hotel at 7:00 am in a private and head towards the Sacred Valley. Our first stop along the way will be in the lookout point of TARAY where you wil have an amazing view of the Urubamba valley and the giant colorful mountains and glaziers. After this, we will continue to the archeological site of PISAC where we will see examples of early farming terraces, ancient houses, temples and the biggest Incan cemetery-with more than 2000 tombs.

    Then we will visit the famous Pisac market. We will have some time to spend here looking at the local handicrafts for sale before going to URUBAMBA for lunch. Your guide will give you some recommendations of great places to eat here. After lunch, we will continue to OLLANTAYTAMBO, an Incan archeological site, where we will have an hour and a half to explore the incredible buildings, water fountains and the temple of the sun with a guided tour. Our next stop will be MORAY, we will have 1 hour here to admire the circular terraces built by early farmers and the unique salty hot springs at the top of a mountain salt mine where the water fills 4000 “ponds” of pink salt. Our final stop will be in CHINCHEROS, a quaint Incan that is famous for being the largest pre-Columbian style handicraft and textile market in the region of Cusco and its archeological Ruins. At this colorful Incan market, you will be able to appreciate the Incan culture and traditions as well as test your bartering skills, interact with local craftsmen and purchase their handicrafts. The specialty is goods made from Alpaca wool, such as sweater, shawls, hats, gloves, blankets, rugs and much more.
