  1. Day 1 Sacred Valley amd Guinea Pig

We will pick you up at 7:30am in our private van. On the way to our first stop you will see beautiful snow-capped mountains and hard-working local farmers out in their fields. Once we arrive in CHINCHERO we have the weaving show, where local Andean woman will demonstrate how they make handicrafts from alpaca wool using natural dyes. This is also a great place to purchase some souvenirs from the locals. Following this, we will have a 20-minute guided walking tour to explore the archeological site of CHINCHERO and the Andean Catholic Church. Then we will drive to MACHUCOLLQA, which has an amazing look-out of the famous SACRED VALLEY. After allowing some time to enjoy the views and take photos we will head to OLLANTAYTAMBO which is about 1 hours’ drive away. Here we will have a tour along the Inca’s Stairway where will see unforgettable Incan architecture like the Temples of the Sun and Moon and their storage house. After the tour we will head to URUBAMBA for lunch. Your tour guide will recommend some great places to eat there. After lunch, our journey continues to LAMAY, where we will enjoy a cooking demonstration of the local delicacy-GUINEA PIG, with the option to taste is when it’s done. After this, we continue our drive further south to PISAC, another archeological site. Here we will see examples of Incan agricultural techniques and learn more about the history of the area. Then we will drive to TARAY, to enjoy our last view of the sacred valley and, if time permits, we may be able to go to AWANACANCHA to see the beautiful Andean llamas, alpacas, vicuñas and guanacos. Our tour will finish at 6:30pm when we drop you off at your hotel in Cusco.
