Our second day is considered the hard part we begin making the wake up with hot mog of coca tea in your tents around 5 am after one hours once you will finish to pack all your own belonging, will get our breakfast and provide water for the day and some snacks so around 6:30 am will start the hike with gradually terrain for 1 hours then will climb for 3 hours until to reach the high pass PACHACUTEQ 4500 meter / 14,763 ft so once we are here will enjoy some hot drinks and to feel the energy of the mountains and to admired the wonderful snow peaks as the PITUSIRAY which is 5,700 meter / 18,700 ft if we really have good time will make a ceremony to the APUS ( mountains) afterward will decent in one gradually dusty and muddy terrain for 2 hours anti our lunch spot along the way we have the opportunity to see llamas, alpacas, blue lagoons and one of the dry microclimate with such a nice flora and fauna will eat near to one of those lagoons after that will continue for 2 more hours to QUISWARANI 3,700 meter / 12,139 ft will arrive here around 4 to 5 pm at the camp site everything will be ready if you want you can go straight to get siesta or at this place if we have time your tour guide will visit another local family and to share some drinks and food with then, after having delicious dinner don’t forget to enjoy the constellations out site or if you want to enjoy your tent and see you tomorrow.

As every day our team will wake up again with coca tea at your tent around 4:30 am then around 5.30 will enjoy our last breakfast cooked by our chef then will continue the hike for 3 hours until WILLKAKASA pass 4,200 meter / 13,779 ft here you will be about the cloud and about the mountains again where will see the last amazing views of the ANDES then will continue to one of the beating path for 2 more hours enjoying our last agriculture lands and grassland spots from CUNCANI will meet our driver and will ride the van for 30 min to LARES HOT SPRING here our chef and our team will be ready to serve us our last lunch and to eat together, then join us to have the hot spring, which are divided up between 5 ranging pools from 36 to 44 degrees Celsius / 96.8 and 111.2 Fahrenheit this medicinal mineral water outcrops have the following chemical compositions: calcium, magnesium, sodium, potassium, chlorides, sulfates, bicarbonates, iron, manganese, zinc, boron, copper and dissolved solids and considered to be relived for bones, muscles, stress, headaches and wonderful reliver sore of muscle from hikes. Early in the morning you will get breakfast at the hotel then wil pick you up from the hotel around 5.45 am will take the train at around 6:10 am until km 104 beginning of the short Inka trail. The train ride is between one and a half hours along the way will see beautiful landscapes, farmlands and the beginning of the tropical forest once will arrive to CHACHABAMBA an archeological site around 7:30 am and from there we will start our hike. The hike is mostly flat but has some short uphill sections where you will enjoy following the steps of the original Incas. Along the way, you will notice different ecosystems and enjoy the views of the Vilcanota mountain range and MACHUPICCHU MOUNTAIN. Afterwards hiking for 3 hours we will arrive at WIÑAYHUAYNA, (forever young) 2.600 meters /8.500 ft, here your tour guide will explain the history and significance of this ancient site of the Incas. Then it will be time to sit down and eat our packed lunch around at 12:30, we will continue our hike, another hour of original inka trail until we reach the Sun Gate, this will be a short but beautiful hike with plenty of flora such as orchids, begonias and bromeliads to enjoy along the way.

Once we reach INTI PUNKU (The Sun Gate) we will have a view of MACHUPICCHU (2,400 meter/ 7,874 feet) we will be able to stop here and take photos before continuing down to the city of Machu Picchu around 3:30 pm. Finishing our hike here, we will now take a bus back to AGUAS CALIENTES, to your hotel “Inti Punku” where you will have time for a rest before your guide organizes dinner at INDIO FELIZ at around 6:30 pm. Here the guide will also give you a briefing about your return to MACHUPICCHU the following day.

Train from ollantaytambo to km 104: 1 and half hours

Breakfast will be ready at the hotel at 4:30 am after which we will take the bus from Aguas Calientes to MACHUPICCHU. It is about a 25-minute ride so we will be one of the first groups to arrive at MACHUPICCHU. Here we will have a 3-hour guided tour where you will visit the Inca temples and magnifies places in the area. We will take our time and enjoy the once in a lifetime experience and views. Finishing the tour, we will return by bus to AGUAS CALIENTES, at around 12:30 pm, where you will be able to have lunch before taking the 2:55 pm train to Ollantaytambo. Here our private van will be waiting to take you back to your hotel in Cusco arriving around at 7:00 pm
